The Champion title is hardcore. You have to win 50 matches against someone rated above 1500. That's a top 20 team.

Difficult? You mean, "Darn near impossible for most people."
And good luck this weekend!

Almost as sucky as dying in one hit with just 11k left to go on Survivor title? With no chance to ever get that title again on this character? How about Anet fixing it so its just 140k experience in a row earns the title, regardless of number of previous deaths? The way it is now is just asinine.

Protector of Tyria/Cantha for me, then Friends of.
Skill Hunter seems a monumental waste of time/effort/gold capping skills you won't/can't use - like the ones linked to primary attributes.
I don't pvp but I guess gladiator where you need win runs would be worth getting, but rank means nothing - especially when making a PvE group.

For me personally I would like to achieve renowned hero (r9). Not that rank means a lot nowadays, but it's just a goal I've set for myself.
Regarding the most respectfull title my vote goes for Champion.

At the current 1 month seasons, getting a Champion title will take many months.

Champion for PvPers and Advanced Skill Hunter for PvErs: Because if you have that many elites you are bound to have most of the map explored.

Emperor's Hero = 36000 Fame, <------ Now that is some GRIND ^_^
But thinking about it little bit more I'll give my respect to Champion title and what comes beyond that (if there is 2nd level in that title).
GvG is Top PvP.

can champion title be triggered by 1500 vs 1500 teams during ladder freeze? if so get ~10 1500+ teams, farm 'champion points' by sync-entering and throwing the matches... profit?
was talking about it the other day, but my guild only reached 1430 :'[

You can farm Zaishen for that title.
Of the truly attainable titles, my respect goes to the Elite Skill Hunter title.

my respect goes to rank... when i play with people, people who are good at pvp also seem to be really good at pve.

I've met people who play pvp, rank 9 or whatever, and turn out to be utter twits in pve. Rank does nothing for me in pve, especially if the character is a monk (As they'll almost certainly have 'just' done healing).
'I have 9 rank!'
"Good for you, you have a good PvP rank. One snag-this isn't PvP, this is PvE."

Many of my friends will admit their shortcomings in PvE. I do not fault them for this, as PvP and PvE do not employ the same strategies. I don't pretend to know everything about PvP. What I tell them is that there are only two things you need to remember when doing PvE with other players.
The first thing is a willingness to bend for the party. Recognize the party heirarchy, and never think of yourself as the star player. You may be a member of a top 50 guild and have yourself a nice tiger, but if you're not the party leader, none of it means a thing. Many people do not like Pick Up Groups because they are not familiar with the players in them--so you must be as giving and as team oriented as possible. PUGs need it. If your party gets in trouble, make sure it gets in trouble together. Follow map directions when they are drawn on the map, and be patient with your fellow players. Make suggestions, not demands.
The second thing is to keep your cool. It is not a race or a competition. Sometimes you may aggro three or four groups more than you intended to. Don't panic, and play it out as best as you can--often, it's not as bad as it appears. When you panic, you think slower and become a danger to your team. Recognize where you can do the most mass effect. Do not aim for bosses if there are smaller targets available.
Numbers, not skill, are what win in PvE. Your goal should be to keep everyone in the party happy and confident.

To me, "Friend of the Luxons" is equal to "I abused the Zos Channle Challenge for my guild!"

Not really. Anyone who has won 50-65 GvGs since the Title system came out will have this (which is top ranking now, but it wouln't be in a month). Anyone who does that many GvGs wouldn't be fighting rank 1501+ guilds. Its just kind of the "GvG player"'s title as Gladiator is the "RA/TA player"'s title.
And about Gladiator... That's just 25 runs in RA. Something to do when you're bored

Nobody has champion title. Your crazy to honestly think getting champion is something easy. Especially coming from someone who has 0 points in it. BOTH guilds have to be 1500+ rateing, not just yours.
